It was a celebration at the beginning of this year, when the Nigeria judo federation finds out that one of her Judoka Enku Ekuta has secured temporal qualifications to Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

But Sadly after the official release of the final Olympic qualification list, she was on 630point with 30 points behind Madagascar's NOMENJANAHARY Damiella who has 667points that gave her a continental qualification.

However, this happened as a result of her inconsistency in participation at International judo federation ranking tournament.
