No contribution will be too much to sustain the hope and existence of judo in the country :Musa Oshodi

 The former vice president of the Nigeria Judo federation and a former NJF presidential aspirant Dr Musa oshodi, has challenged all judo Practitioners in the Nigeria to make positive contributions to the development of judo in Nigeria irrespective of their age, rank and financial status. 

He stated this on a WhatsApp group that created by a Nigerian based judo foundation for it fans and administrators (Gbayi Judo foundation)

However, in his message, he admonished competitors to positively promote the image of the game in other to attract  potential family members "As athletes, keep promoting the image of the sport with the attitude that will encourage others to continue to be part of the family and promote the interest of potential family members."

Furthermore, according to oshodi, coaches are expected to teach the right values of the game "Coaches in their own should give quality teachings and promote viable pools for future engagements. The future of the athletes and eventually the attainment of our collective desire and aspiration is in the hands of our coaches."

He didn't not rule out the role of the administrators and stakeholders in the game as they are the captain of the ship." Our administrators, you are , no doubt , the pilots of the ship. Everything about the federation and the sport lies in your hands. The foundation and erection of the structure is your responsibility. Nothing will be too much as a sacrifice  to ensure maximal and desirous involvement of all stakeholders.While other stakeholders will be ardently working to ensure successful completion of the desired structure, it is the Administrators responsibility to provide desirable materials that the other stakeholders will work with."

He concluded his message by calling on the Secretariat to be more focused on results oriented goals "Above all, the Secretariat should be more focused, result oriented and aggressively setting and getting goals."
