Meet the world best male judoka of the 2019/2020 season of the international Judo federation

 Lukhumi Chkhvimiani is a Georgian judoka, he was born on the 3rd of may, 1993. 

Chkhvimiani is currently the best male judo of the year 2020 and also doubled as the 60kg world Senior judo champion, he won the title at the Tokyo 2019 World Senior Judo Championships in Japan.

He has won five Gold medals, One sliver medal and five bronze medals so far on the ijf recognized tournaments, having his best result to be the Tokyo 2019 World Judo championships where he defeated the current world number Nagayama Ryuju of Japan in the semifinals. 

Lukhumi will be competing next in January 2021 at the Doha 2021 world masters, scheduled to host on January 11-13 , 2021.
